Electrician

This position is a permanent opportunity
As an Electrician you will be expected to:
- Carry out electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, in accordance with the current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a consistently high standard.
- Be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customers receive a positive experience and that all work meets regulatory and quality requirements.
- Be an integral member of the team, you will provide an efficient and effective electrical service, working collaboratively with both trade operatives and office-based You will contribute to a positive, supportive and productive working environment, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.

To be successful in an Electrician role, the skills you will need:

Formal technical qualification in Electrical Installation
- Qualified to City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent) NVQ 3 for electrical installation
- City & Guilds 2381/2382 18th edition wiring regulations
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practice i.e., Construction, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
- The ability to deliver work plans to timetable, often under pressure.
- Sound Practical knowledge of electrical, construction and maintenance functions.
- Able to form and maintain good working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
- Experience of working in a building environment and completing electrical repair work in occupied homes.
- Ability to correctly isolate and prove isolation before working on electrical circuits.
- Installation experience with all types of cable and cable management.
- Full UK Driving License
- Have an extensive tool selection to carry out electrical work, e.g. Cordless power tools, VDE Hand tools

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
- Door entry, CCTV, fire alarm, gates systems knowledge.
