We're looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join us at Longwater Construction Supplies - Sleaford.
Longwater Construction Supplies are a family run business with Sleaford Branch mainly specialising in Civils and Groundworks.
We are a busy Branch, and our main aim is to consistently exceed our customer's expectations, we know our people are at the heart of ensuring this happens which is why we are always on the lookout to recruit the best around.
As a HGV Driver, you would be representing the company when out of the depot whilst providing an effective and reliable multidrop delivery and collection service to customers and other depots when needed.
To fit the HGV Driver role, you will need to be:
Able to work on your own initiative, but also willing to work as part of a wider team
A good communicator who is presentable, approachable, positive and polite
Motivated, energetic and passionate about your work
In possession of a valid current Category C HGV licence
HIAB certificate and experience is desirable, but this training can be provided
Knowledge of the building industry and working for a Merchant would be an advantage

The job will entail the use of a brick grab style crane and although this is preferred it is not essential as we can offer training for successful applicants.
Requirements
- HGV2 Licence
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Good communication skills
- Strong origination and prioritisation skills
- The ability to completion basic paperwork in an orderly fashion
- Good team working ethic
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: To be discussed, depending on experience.
- Experience: HGV: 2 years (preferred)

Working hours - 7:30am - 5pm Mon-Fri & Alternative Saturday's 8am - 12pm
