Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Floor Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and a passion for hospitality. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to guests at the bar and on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and dining space
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Take orders accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions with basic maths skills
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods through excellent time management
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience
- Support team members in maintaining high standards of service throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is preferred but not essential
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Good organisational abilities and time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
- Basic maths proficiency for handling payments and bills
- Personable demeanour with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
