The Role
This is a Consultant-grade appointment for a Business Analyst who will sit in our Cross Functional Team. You'll primarily work as an implementation BA and spend most of your time on implementation projects: the delivery phase where a digital solution is designed, built, configured, tested, and taken live.
Day to day, that means owning the requirements that feed a build, working alongside developers and solution architects as the product takes shape, running UAT to prove it does what the business needs, and supporting the transition to live operation. You will move between projects and clients, so comfort with shifting context and a bias toward getting things delivered matter as much as technical analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements for digital transformation projects.
- Run process mapping and gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and quantify the value at stake.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications for technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align on objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Support the build and implementation of digital solutions through to go-live, keeping delivery anchored to commercial goals.
- Track project progress, surface risks early, and propose mitigations to protect delivery timelines.
- Plan and run user acceptance testing (UAT), and drive issues to resolution so solutions meet requirements.
- Produce clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and investors.
- Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, building collaboration and shared understanding.
Requirements
-
2-3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a management consultancy or digital transformation context. This is a Consultant-grade role and the experience requirement reflects that.
- Strong grasp of digital transformation concepts, methodologies, and technologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
- Proficiency in process mapping (e.g. Lucidchart, BPMN) and collaboration tooling (e.g. Confluence, Jira).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit requirements effectively.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Benefits
-
Annual leave: 23 days, rising by one day per year of service up to a maximum of 27 days, plus Christmas closure.
- Personal training allowance: £1500 annual personal training allowance
- Pension scheme: 3% employer contribution, 5%+ flexible employee contributionPerformance bonus (discretionary)
