Due to one of our Nurses heading off to college in August, we require a part-time dental nurse.
Hours-
Monday- Off
Tuesday- Off
Wednesday 08:00-20:00
Thursday 14:00-19:00
Friday 08:30-16:30
Saturday 09:00-13:00 on rotation with other staff, paid at time and a half.
Practice 15minutes drive from Glasgow, free parking onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists/hygienist during a wide range of clinical procedures
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in line with infection control protocols
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant clinical environment
- Support patient care by providing reassurance, pre- and post-treatment guidance
- Accurately record patient notes and update dental records using practice management software
- Ensure all materials and equipment are available and ready ahead of each appointment
- Follow strict cross-infection control and health & safety
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and maintain inventory records
- Assist with reception duties when required, including booking appointments and handling patient queries
