Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced painter and decorator to join an established team of tradesmen working on our own office and residential projects. The current project, in Nottingham city centre will likely run until the end of November, with opportunities for additional hours, and weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure a smooth finish.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Assess project requirements, estimate materials needed, and plan work accordingly.
- Maintain a clean work environment during and after each project to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, decorating, or related trades.
- Strong knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating materials.
- Valid driving license to access various job sites efficiently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: £20.00 per hour
