Job Overview
We are looking for someone to join our team as an assistant helping with the daily running of our store
Duties
- Assist butchers with preparing, cutting, and packaging meat products according to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Help with receiving deliveries, inspecting quality, and storing meat properly
- Follow all health and safety guidelines during food handling and equipment operation
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations when needed
- Support the team in maintaining inventory levels and documenting food preparation processes
Experience
- Knowledge of butchery techniques and food preparation practices is desirable but not required as training provided.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene standards is essential
- Being able to work with the public in a frendly manor
- Good time manigment skills
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
