In Birmingham, families rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse need someone who can bring hope, connection, and stability back into their world.
This is more than supporting children ?" it`s about working hand-in-hand with parents and guardians to rebuild trust, confidence, and brighter futures together.
Opportunity were offering;
- We have three roles to offer the successful candidates - Permanent, Fixed Term and Bank
- Location - Birmingham (outside of the city centre)
- Salary - 13.74 per hour
- Hours - 9am to 430pm, with some late (12pm to 8pm) in the week, alternative Saturdays with occasional Sundays
We`re looking for someone;
- Due to the nature of this service we are only able to consider female applicants
- Experienced in supporting children in a professional or volunteering capasity
- Comfortable in engaging children and others in 121 or group activities
- Compassionate, collaborative, and driven individual who can build trusted relationships
- Person centred, consistent and patient
- Flexible with their availability to cover outside of normal hours to support the families that use our service

- Empower children to develop a deeper understanding of how to process their emotions.
- Create healing and development through shared moments and meaningful activities.
- Support parents in understanding and responding to their child`s emotional needs.
- Strengthen family bonds and help build safe, healthy relationships.
- Be a steady, positive presence during a time of change and healing.
From family sessions to group activities and one-to-one support, you`ll help create spaces where both children and their caregivers feel heard, supported, and empowered.
