We are currently recruiting for a 7.5t Crane Lorry driver to work out of our Birstall Branch.
The successful applicant will be delivering general building materials around Leicestershire.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes:
· Reliable, hardworking and trustworthy
· Physically fit
· Have a positive attitude & willingness to learn
· Have an up to date Driver CPC Certificate
· Have Hiab Crane license (Hiab training can be given).
Summary
As a Crane Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will utilise your core skills in commercial driving and flatbed operation to navigate routes efficiently. Your experience as a delivery driver will be invaluable in maintaining high standards of service and compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
Operate a 7.5t Crane Lorry safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring secure transport.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and communicate effectively with clients.
Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.
Job Type: Full-time. 7:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
