Experienced Optical Advisor (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Terry Optical is a well-established, independent family-run group of five optical practices across Staffordshire and the West Midlands. We are proud of the exceptional care and personal service we provide to our patients and are looking to welcome an experienced Optical Advisor to our friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional, patient-focused environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer care.
The Role
The successful candidate will primarily be based at our Wolverhampton practice. However, occasional travel to our other practices (all within approximately a 15-mile radius) may be required to provide holiday or sickness cover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing spectacles to patients of all ages and prescription requirements.
- Providing excellent face-to-face and telephone customer service.
- Booking and managing appointments.
- Handling patient enquiries and administrative duties.
- Working confidently within our fully paperless practice management system.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an optical dispensing/advisor role.
- Is confident dispensing spectacles independently.
- Works well both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is professional, well presented and approachable.
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable using digital systems.
