Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker to join our team. Duties
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment safely and effectively
- Using mechanical knowledge to support the operation and maintenance of machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment
- Performing general site preparation, including digging, trenching, and grading
- Supporting with the installation of irrigation systems and other horticultural projects
- Assisting with the upkeep of tools and equipment to ensure optimal working condition
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Supporting team members with various construction-related tasks as required
Experience
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical principles is advantageous
- Experience working with excavators or other heavy machinery is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with irrigation systems or general construction experience will be considered an asset
- Practical knowledge of maintenance routines for outdoor environments is beneficial
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and working safely in outdoor settings is essential
