We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Farnborough from September. This is a permanent position from day one, offering the opportunity to work closely with a pupil on a one-to-one basis while being part of a highly supportive and experienced team.
The school caters for primary and secondary-aged pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and is committed to helping every student achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.

The Role
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive social development.
- Support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
- Help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND is desirable, whether in education, care or another support setting.
- Patient, caring and resilient.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
- Passionate about helping every child reach their potential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
