The Role of a Practitioner...
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will be role modelling your knowledge and best practice to colleagues, the children and the families that attend LASC.

As a key worker, you will ensure every individual child's needs are met.

Speak Up against practices that don't support safeguarding or Our Core Values.
Service: We are one of two nurseries within a large childcare service providing care for children aged 6 months - 5 years in Nursery, 5 years - 12 years Out of School Care and Additional Support needs service, children aged 5 years-16 years.

Working in partnership with parents.

Support parents with any ASL needs.

Embrace and promote our Standards of Excellence in every part of your role.

Be a key member of the team to plan and implement daily / weekly activities to meet the children's individual learning needs.

Adhere to our childcare policies.

Create a setting that is clean and welcoming, with well-kept educational resources.

Ensure that children's observations are detailed, reflective and provide developmentally challenging next steps.

Working as part of a team to provide the best care and early years experiences as possible.
Your Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years / Childhood Practice

Previous experience working and caring for children under 5

Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities
