An exciting opportunity to join our fabulous Farm Park Team!
We are looking for high energy, confident people who can take on a variety of customer based, seasonal work. It will involve assisting the public with animal activities, caring for animals, taking part in events and character roles
This role includes:
- Working at our farm park delivering excellent customer service through interactive animal experiences, activities and special events
- Helping our Farm Manager and Farm Supervisor with livestock care and small animal care
- Working in a family environment and engaging with children
- Working at our seasonal events
- Working in a clean and hygienic way
- Must be able to work within any area of the business and take on the duties and responsibilities of each area
- Any other duties that may be required by the business
- Option to learn how to drive our tractor and trailer ride
Key Skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cheerful disposition with Natural Customer Service Skills
- Confident and able to speak to large crowds of people on a microphone
- Experience in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge off livestock animals is preferred but not essential
- Team Player
- Ideally can drive, if not, have means to get to work at short notice
Hours of work:
- This role is a seasonal role with majority of hours taking place during school holidays and weekends. However, some weekday work is also available.
- Hours will vary throughout the year
