Registered veterinary nurse -Emergency vets Glasgow
Emergency vets Glasgow is an independent clinic that has been growing, refining and quietly leading by example since August 2022. This is a rare opportunity to be part of something truly progressive.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate RVN to work within our expanding, diplomat led, multidisciplinary referral and out of hours service, dedicated to innovative and contextualised care.
Everyone plays a vital role in our close-knit supportive team. We are proud of our collaborative culture, our investment in CPD, equipment and our relentless focus on doing things right - not just the way they’ve always been done.
Our current team includes - 8 full time vets, 5 full time RVNs, 3 veterinary care assistants, 4 front of house staff and 1 practice manager.
The Role:
This is a permanent, full-time position involving a mix of day shifts, night shifts, and back shifts on a rolling rota pattern. The rota is designed to allow for work life balance.
Average working hours of 35 per week.
Opportunity for paid overtime if desired.
You’ll be an integral part of the clinical team, supporting emergency procedures, inpatient care, anaesthesia, and triage.
What we’re looking for -
A qualified and registered veterinary nurse.
Confidence working in an ECC setting (experience preferred).
A calm, adaptable approach to emergency situations.
Someone who enjoys being part of a team and is committed to high standards of patient and client care.
What we offer -
Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience) Supportive and friendly team environment.
