Overview
We are a small, passionate, and highly ambitious domiciliary care provider on a mission to grow. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to take the reins of our daily operations and partner with us as we scale.
Specialising in personalized home care—including dementia and Alzheimer’s support—we pride ourselves on keeping care deeply personal. Because we are a small team looking to expand, impeccable regulatory compliance is our absolute foundation. We are looking for a compliance expert who knows how to build, audit, and maintain rock-solid, inspection-ready systems from the ground up. This role offers the unique opportunity to bypass corporate red tape, shape our culture, and directly drive our expansion with a "compliance-first" mindset.
Responsibilities
- Champion Compliance & Quality Assurance: Lead on all aspects of CQC compliance. Design, implement, and oversee robust auditing processes, risk assessments, and quality assurance frameworks to ensure we are always inspection-ready.
- Lead & Scale the Team: Manage, mentor, and grow our community-based care team, instilling a deep culture of safety, regulatory adherence, and high-quality service delivery.
- Person-Centred Care Planning: Develop, review, and audit tailored care plans that strictly meet CQC standards while allowing clients to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
- Growth & Community Relations: Act as the registered face of our service, building trusted, compliant relationships with clients, families, local authorities, and social work teams to support our growth.
- Safe Medication & MAR Chart Auditing: Oversee safe medication management in the community, ensuring flawless record-keeping, medication administration recording (MAR) audits, and compliance with legal policies.
- Operational Management: Efficiently manage staff rotas, travel coordination, and recruitment pipelines, ensuring all newly hired staff undergo rigorous, compliant safer-recruitment checks.
Experience & Qualifications
- Compliance & Regulatory Expertise: Deep, demonstrable knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, and fundamental standards. You should have a proven track record of achieving or maintaining "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings.
- Registered Manager Status: Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or a highly experienced Deputy ready to step up) within a domiciliary care / home care setting.
- Dementia & Complex Care Expertise: Strong knowledge of supporting elderly clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s in a home environment.
- Growth Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine interest in helping a small business grow, adapt, and scale sustainably without compromising on safety or standards.
- Exceptional Leadership: Proven ability to recruit, train, and inspire a remote workforce, ensuring every team member understands and champions our compliance standards.
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or currently working towards it.
Why Join Us? Unlike giant corporate providers where compliance can feel like a paper-pushing exercise, here your expertise will actively shape our future. We believe that safe, compliant care is the only way to grow. You will work closely with the owners, enjoy genuine autonomy, and play the defining role in building a highly respected, fully compliant brand.
