Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Senior Carer to join our care home team. This vital role involves supervising and supporting care staff during night shifts, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and relevant experience in senior care settings. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff during night shifts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in accordance with care plans
- Oversee the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night, responding promptly to any emergencies or concerns
- Assist with personal care tasks such as mobility, medication administration, and hygiene needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Lead by example in promoting a respectful, caring environment that upholds dignity and independence for residents
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience working within a care home environment
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of care planning procedures and IT systems utilised in healthcare settings
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compassion
- Flexibility to work night shifts on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays as required

Pay: £13.40 per hour
