UK Loft Boarding Ltd has been established since 2010 and is one of the leading specialists in loft storage solutions across the North of England.
We provide customers with practical loft storage solutions including loft boarding, raised storage systems, loft ladders, hatches, insulation and our specialist Loft-E® systems.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team at our head office in Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington.
The Role
This is a warm-lead sales role focused on converting existing enquiries and quotations into confirmed customers.
We generate a steady flow of enquiries through our website, advertising and survey process. You will be responsible for picking up the phone, speaking to these customers, following up their quotations and helping them make the decision to go ahead.
There is no cold calling.
We are looking for someone who understands sales and is confident taking a customer from an initial enquiry through to securing the booking.
Your Responsibilities
- Contact customers who have received quotations from UK Loft Boarding Ltd
- Follow up outstanding quotations and enquiries
- Contact customers following their loft survey
- Identify why a customer has not yet proceeded and work to overcome objections
- Explain our products and services clearly and confidently
- Build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Identify opportunities to increase the value of individual enquiries where appropriate
- Follow up older and previous enquiries to generate additional sales
- Re-quote customers where required
- Convert warm enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Ask for the sale and confidently close opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM system
- Keep detailed notes of conversations and follow-up actions
- Ensure customers are contacted at the appropriate time
- Work closely with the office, survey and installation teams
- Meet agreed sales and conversion expectations
About You
We are looking for an experienced salesperson who is confident speaking to customers and has a proven ability to convert enquiries into sales.
You will ideally have experience in:
- Telephone sales
- Warm-lead sales
- Following up quotations
- Customer conversion
- Closing sales
- Handling objections
- Customer relationship management
- Working to sales targets
You will be:
- Confident and professional on the telephone
- Friendly and approachable
- A strong communicator
- Persuasive without being overly pushy
- Persistent and comfortable following up customers
- Commercially minded
- Organised and able to manage your own workload
- Comfortable asking for the sale
- Confident dealing with customer objections
- Accurate when recording customer information
- Comfortable using CRM systems and computers
- Able to work independently while being part of a wider team
Sales Experience Is Essential
Previous sales experience is essential for this position.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience selling over the telephone or converting warm leads, quotations or existing enquiries.
Experience within home improvements, construction, property, kitchens, bathrooms, windows, conservatories, roofing, insulation or another similar industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
What matters most is that you know how to speak to customers, build trust, overcome objections and close the sale.
