Restaurant Assistant - Mintlaw

The Role...
This position is offered on a zero hours contract, providing flexibility to work around your availability, with hours offered in line with business needs.
As a Restaurant Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant, helping to deliver a high standard of service and ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be part of a team delivering a great dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, positive first impression
- Taking customer orders and operating the till system accurately
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffee
- Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
- Clearing and cleaning tables and maintaining a clean, organised restaurant area
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Handling customer enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
- General day-to-day support within the restaurant
- Some lifting involved (a good level of fitness is helpful)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a similar customer-facing or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
- Friendly, reliable and a strong team player
- Good time management and communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- Good attention to detail and high standards of presentation
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Pay: £8.00-£12.75 per hour
