Job Summary
Pegasus Staff Services Limited is currently looking for a dedicated Class 1 Driver's to join our team for temporary driver recruitment. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely to various locations across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with the transport office, customers, and team members
- Follow company policies and procedures for safe driving practices
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial driving
- Proficient in driving and navigating delivery routes
- Ability to handle goods with care during transportation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
