Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of all food items
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining kitchen standards and efficiency
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to enhance their experience
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for bills and change
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area and ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Promote a positive atmosphere through active engagement with guests and team members
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, training will be provided
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food and drink preparation skills is desired
- Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent guest service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales

Pay: £8.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 40.0 per week
