Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant/Ironer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of laundry items, primarily in a hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and able to work as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry items according to established standards
- Ironing and pressing garments to achieve a crisp, professional appearance - with a commercial iron
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
- Monitoring laundry equipment for proper operation and reporting any faults
- Assisting with inventory management of laundry supplies and detergents
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times during operations
Skills
- Experience within the holiday let industry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: £13.00 per hour
