About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our busy vehicle workshop in Stockport. This is a full‑time, permanent position working Monday to Friday on a day shift, ideal for someone confident in high‑quality paint preparation, spraying and finishing across cars, vans and commercial vehicles.
You will carry out full resprays, panel repairs, refinishing and cosmetic restoration to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle paint preparation including sanding, masking and priming
- Spraying using water‑based and solvent‑based paints
- Colour matching using paint systems and spectrometers
- Panel refinishing including blending and polishing
- Bodyshop repairs including minor filler work and surface correction
- Quality control ensuring all work meets manufacturer and workshop standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and following all paint booth procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or Bodyshop Paint Technician
- Strong background in vehicle paint preparation, spraying and finishing
- Ability to colour match and blend to a high standard
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Experience in a bodyshop or accident repair centre preferred
