Experienced Oak Frame Carpenter
Location: Tetbury, Gloucestershire

Timberpride is a long-established and respected oak framing company with an excellent reputation for quality craftsmanship. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Oak Frame Carpenter to join our skilled and friendly team.
We specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke oak-framed buildings, producing everything in-house—from milling the oak through to manufacturing, raising frames on site, and fitting direct glazing.
About the Role
As part of our experienced team, you will be involved in all aspects of oak frame construction, including:
- Working from technical drawings
- Setting out and manufacturing oak frames
- Raising frames on site
- Fitting direct glazing
- Supporting the wider team with associated tasks
Our projects include complete roof structures, extensions, garages, garden rooms, and orangeries. Most work is carried out within a 30–50 mile radius of Tetbury, often even closer to home.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in oak framing, traditional carpentry, or high-quality joinery
- Can work accurately from drawings
- Takes pride in producing work to a high standard
- Is reliable, practical, and enjoys working as part of a team
- Holds a full UK driving licence (if required)
If you have direct oak frame experience, we'd love to see examples of your work. We would also be keen to hear from experienced joiners or woodworkers who have strong oak-working skills and are looking to develop their career in oak framing.
