Starting on day shift, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe receipt, storage, movement, and control of raw materials within a sheet steel manufacturing environment.
Duties include operating forklift trucks and material handling equipment, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, loading and monitoring automated storage and production systems, transporting materials to designated areas, maintaining accurate stock records, carrying out routine equipment checks, and ensuring materials are stored safely and correctly.
The role also involves supporting inventory management, maintaining high housekeeping standards, reporting any equipment or material issues, and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, have previous forklift experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment, possess a good understanding of stock control processes, demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience handling sheet steel or industrial materials would be advantageous.

8am – 5pm Mon – Thurs
8am – 12:30 Fridays
