About us
Mangiando Calabro is an independent, family-run Italian deli and restaurant specialising in authentic Calabrian food. We regularly attend farmers' markets and food festivals across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, where we showcase and sell our artisan products.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Market Sales Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Travel independently to farmers' markets and food events using your own vehicle.
- Set up and dismantle our market stall.
- Sell Italian food products and provide excellent customer service.
- Process card and cash payments.
- Keep the stall clean, organised and fully stocked.
- Represent the Mangiando Calabro brand professionally at all times.
Requirements
Essential
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Able to lift and carry market equipment.
- Available to work Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Desirable
- Experience in retail, hospitality or market trading.
- Passion for Italian food.
