At HASCS, we believe great care starts with genuine connection, compassion, and a willingness to make every day meaningful. We are looking for caring and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to support a young service user in a family home environment.
You will be supporting a 2-year-old who enjoys singing, music, being read to, and watching his favourite cartoons. This is a hands-on, interactive role within the family home where play, engagement, and building a trusting relationship are just as important as providing care.
A genuine passion for working with young children alongside a caring, reliable, and positive approach will help you make a real difference every day.
Our service user has complex needs and as such an experienced and confident carer would be ideal for this role.
Role Responsibilities
As a healthcare assistant in this package of care you will:
- Support your service user with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
- Deliver person-centered care according to bespoke care plans.
- Promote independence and respect each service users spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
- Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.
Clinical Skills
Please note that whilst experience in these areas are desirable, we will provide service user specific training.
- Nasogastric tube placement checks and safety checks
- NIV
- Emergency response
- Vital signs and observations

- 8AM to 2PM – Monday to Friday
- 8PM to 7AM – Nights
