Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that all guests and clients feel welcomed and comfortable in their environment.
Please be advised that trail shifts will take place at our sister venue, Y Seler. You may be required to work at this location to maintain your weekly working hours.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, lobbies, restrooms, and guest rooms.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust and debris.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to customer requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
- Cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms.
- Over seeing in house washing, drying and ironing of all linen.
- Turn over rooms in between checkouts.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and guests.
- A proactive attitude towards work with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the business needs.
