Forklift Driver Required in Battle, East Sussex
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join a busy construction site in Battle, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled forklift operator looking for ongoing work with a reputable employer.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations by safely moving materials, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently on a construction site
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Transporting materials around site as directed
- Assisting site teams with material distribution
- Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting general site duties when required
Requirements
- Valid CPCS, NPORS or accredited Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift within a construction environment
- Strong awareness of site health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full PPE required
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
