We are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver (Night Shift) to work 10pm-6am, Sunday to Thursday. This role involves working in and out of our finished goods frozen product cold store in the low-risk area of the factory. PPE is provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain valuable skills. Full training will be provided although FLT experience is desirable. The successful candidate will receive the following licenses: Scissor Lift, Reach Truck, Fork Lift, PPT Truck.
The hourly rate for this position is £15.26 per hour (£12.71 per hour plus £2.55 night shift allowance).
The main duties of the role are as follows:
- Complete necessary line/equipment/process checks and documentation ensure adherence of health and safety policy from all staff
- Liaise with Team Leader/Production Manager on the day to day duties,
- Off load vehicles efficiently following the right H&S procedures
- Liaise with the drivers in the yard
- Complete all paperwork to the required standard
- Check the received products against the delivery notes and sign the paper work
- Maintain the warehouse in order at all times
- Ensure all the goods in the warehouse have the right pallet labels
- Ensure GMP of the warehouse is to the level desired
- Take responsibility for inventories and support investigations into material variances.
- Recommend ways in which to improve work areas / performance
- Maintain machinery equipment to the level instructed

- Good level of numeracy
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrate an understanding of Health and Safety Requirements within TMI Foods
- Demonstrate an understanding of KPIs
- Must be competent with using Microsoft packages
