Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling according to client preferences.
- Perform specialised treatments such as hair extensions. (Training provided)
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalised advice.
- Manage store operations efficiently, including front desk duties such as appointment scheduling and payment processing.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and team cohesion.
- Upsell products and additional services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry.
- Assist stylists and shadow senior staff to gain experience.
- Run a column and build a clientele
Experience
- Any experience within a salon environment.
- Qualified in hairdressing level 2
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in front desk operations, including appointment booking and client relations.
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote products and additional services confidently.
