Job Summary
Madhatters Dining Room is seeking an experienced and charismatic Bar Manager to lead our team and provide exceptional customer service. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, managing staff, and ensuring that our customers have an unforgettable experience.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the bar team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
* Monitor and control inventory, ordering, and stock levels to minimize waste and optimize profitability
* Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
* Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our bar and increase sales
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the bar operates within budget
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
* Hospitality or bar management qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds)
* Experience with inventory management and stock control
* Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and bar management software
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
Requirements:
* -2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or bar management environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of cocktail making and wine is an advantage
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
