Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, skilled and experienced candidate to assist with our ongoing workload.
This is intended initially as sub-contract or zero hours PAYE role, and could progress. Pay is dependant on experience and qualification's, and the workload will be suited to individuals skill set.
Any subcontractors must have right to work, valid UTR, and be insured.
This is a mainly domestic role, but also covering commercial settings increasingly.
Jobs include, commercial and domestic EICRS, consumer unit and distribution board installations and upgrades, full and part scope bespoke rewires, EV charger installations, heating system installations, kitchen and bathroom rewires, fault finding, new build installations, fire detection system work, door entry system work and more.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various types of installations from first to second fix, through to final testing.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools in line with BS7671
- Conduct regular testing of work and EICRS in-line with guidance note 3 and 2391-52
- Maintain detailed records and photos of maintenance and repair activities for compliance and certification purposes
- Communicate with customers where required to maintain company image and be well presented
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Ideally have proven experience working with electrical systems, including installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with hand tools and power tools essential
- Good understanding of electrical regulations, safety regulations, and best practices
- Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Critical thinking; have problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid electrical qualifications and certification preferred but not mandatory; must have willingness to obtain necessary certifications is a plus

Pay: £29,263.83-£50,000.00 per year
