We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Health and Social Care Tutor to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Health and Social Care Tutor, you will deliver engaging and effective training to learners studying health and social care qualifications. You will support learners throughout their journey, helping them achieve their qualifications and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Health and Social Care
- Support learners working towards vocational qualifications and apprenticeships
- Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials
- Conduct learner reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Ensure learners are supported to achieve timely completion
- Maintain compliance with awarding body and internal quality standards
- Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care
- Teaching and assessing qualification (AET, PTLLS, CET, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent desirable)
- Experience working within the health and social care sector
- Experience delivering training or tutoring learners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and support learners of varying abilities
- Knowledge of OFSTED and qualification standards
Desirable
- Experience delivering classroom sessions
- IQA qualification
- Experience working with adult learners
