Compass Home Energy is a growing heating, plumbing and renewable energy company delivering high-quality installations across the North West.
Our work covers traditional plumbing and heating alongside modern technologies including air source heat pumps, air conditioning and renewable heating systems, as well as complete bathroom installations.
We are looking to expand our team and would consider:
- Experienced Air Source Heat Pump Installers
Subcontract engineers would be preferred at this time.
We are particularly interested in people with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop across several areas of the industry.
The Role
This is a varied role covering heating, plumbing, bathrooms and modern low-carbon technologies.
You will work independently or alongside less experienced engineers while developing their skills.
Typical work will include:
- Domestic heating system installations
- Boiler replacements and upgrades
- Air source heat pump installations
- Radiator installations and replacements
- Hot water cylinder installations
- Heating system alterations and upgrades
- First and second fix plumbing
- Bathroom installations
- Showers, baths, toilets, basins and associated pipework
- Heating system flushing, filling and commissioning
- Heating controls
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Servicing and maintenance
- Copper and plastic pipework
- Air conditioning installations
- Assisting with renewable energy installations
- Working from drawings and installation specifications
- Maintaining a clean and professional standard in customers' homes
Who We're Looking For Experienced Engineers
We are looking for engineers who can confidently carry out plumbing, heating and heat pump work to a high standard and take responsibility for their installations.
Experience with air conditioning or bathrooms would be beneficial, but training can be provided.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
Applicants will hold:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing & Heating
- Plumbing & Heating apprenticeship
- Gas qualifications / Gas Safe registration
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Water Regulations qualification
- Heat Pump installation qualification
- Air Conditioning / F-Gas qualification
You do not need to hold every qualification listed above.
Training and development will be available for the right person.
