Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team at Plas Talgarth Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting, contributing to the overall appearance and upkeep of our facilities. Prior experience in large short let accommodation or hotels is highly desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas..
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained to meet health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning duties to the relevant department promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality, security, and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Hotels or short let accommodation is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining productivity.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive approach towards maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
