Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Previous janitorial experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning practices are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to health and safety regulations
