Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000 – £70,000 DOE + Vehicle / Allowance + Healthcare + Pension

The Role:
Whether you're an Intermediate QS ready to take on more responsibility or an experienced Senior-level QS looking for greater autonomy, there is scope here to build the position around your experience.
You'll work across a varied portfolio of construction, refurbishment, redevelopment and fit-out projects, taking commercial responsibility from procurement through to final account.
The position can be based from either Belfast or Cookstown, with site visits across Northern Ireland.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Commercial management of construction and refurbishment projects
- Interim valuations and final accounts
- Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Subcontractor and material procurement
- Negotiating subcontract packages and supplier agreements
- Managing variations and change orders
- Subcontractor valuations and payments
- Measurement of works against schedules and specifications
- Producing cost reports and commercial updates
- Attending client and site progress meetings
- Working with operational teams to maximise project profitability
Positive Signs on your CV:
- 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience
- Main contractor experience is advantageous
- Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
- Experience across the full commercial lifecycle
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding
- Confident with valuations, procurement, variations and final accounts
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Full UK Driving Licence
