We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team and work alongside our General Manager in our busy country pub. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our front of house operation, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards, and supporting the management team.
Shift patterns vary from week to week and include evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays and the Christmas period.
Duties:
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant.
- Help to lead, motivate and supervise the Front of House team during service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer queries professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the venue.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, licensing laws, Challenge 25 and age verification procedures.
- Assist with recruiting, training and developing Front of House team members.
- Assist with cash handling procedures, end-of-shift reconciliation and till accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or issues.
- Help create a positive, professional and supportive working environment.
Skills:
- Minimum of one year's experience in a bar and/or restaurant supervisory role.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Positive, friendly and approachable personality.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm, efficient and professional during busy service periods.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- A Personal Licence is desirable but not essential.
