Companion / Carer (Part-Time) – Swindon
Location: Swindon
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 12–15 hours per week
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a caring, reliable and friendly low level Companion / Carer to support a client living in Swindon.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence while providing companionship and practical support.
Duties include:
- General household chores
- Laundry and ironing
- Accompanying the client on shopping trips and outings
- Providing companionship and social support
- Assisting with day-to-day activities as required
The client is a wheelchair user, so you will need to be comfortable assisting with community outings
Essential requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous care experience and training
- An enhanced DBS
- This is a private role - self employed
- Access to your own reliable vehicle
- Caring, patient and dependable nature
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
On offer:
- Regular part-time hours (Tuesday to Thursday) between 10 am and 3 pm
- 12–15 hours per week - should more be required there is scope to match you up to other clients in the area around your availability.
- £16.60 per hour
