Assistant Manager – Domiciliary Care and supported living
Location: Slough Salary: £35000 Full-Time
Are you an experienced domiciliary care manager ready for your next step?
We are looking for a confident, experienced and compassionate Assistant Manager to join our growing domiciliary care team.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who understands what it takes to deliver high-quality care in the community and can support a team to maintain excellent standards.
The Role
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service, ensuring our clients receive safe, person-centred care and our care team is well supported.
You will be involved in:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the service.
- Leading, supporting and supervising care staff.
- Assisting with care plans, risk assessments and reviews.
- Monitoring care quality, compliance and staff performance.
- Supporting recruitment, induction and training.
- Managing rotas and ensuring continuity of care.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints.
- Supporting CQC compliance, audits and continuous improvement.
- Building positive relationships with clients, families and professionals.
What We're Looking For
Domiciliary care management experience is essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a domiciliary care management role.
- Has strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and person-centred care.
- Is confident leading and motivating a care team.
- Is organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.
- Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Is passionate about delivering high standards of care.
- Has relevant care qualifications and/or management qualifications (desirable).
