Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation, and cooking
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in creating innovative dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends
- Proven experience as a Chef de partie or in a similar culinary role within a pub or restaurant environment.
- Responsible for the preparation and setup of your section
- Previous experience in hospitality is essential, with an understanding of customer service expectations.

Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards
- Previous experience working in a pub or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are preferred but not essential if complemented by substantial experience in similar roles
