Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team in various capacities, including full-time, part-time, casual, and night shifts. The role involves providing compassionate care and support to Adults with Learning disabilities within a residential setting. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in supporting people with complex needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly across different shifts. Duties
- Offer personalised care and support in line with individual care plans
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities
- Monitor behaviour and provide emotional support to promote wellbeing and development
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
- Drive to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation in residents own vehicle or homes vehicles.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
- Uphold health and safety standards within the residential environment at all times
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely when required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with families, and team members
- IT literacy for maintaining records and completing documentation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or casual hours as needed
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting people’s development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Pay: From £13.45 per hour
