Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and intervene appropriately to promote safety
- Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service when required
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, aiming for prompt resolution
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar tending is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse clientele
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not essential
- A friendly attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented approach are essential for success in this role
