We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Customer Service Advisor to join our team at our Woking Branch.
This is a varied, customer-facing role within a busy vehicle rental environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, can stay organised when things get busy and is happy to get involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the branch.
Working Hours
Wednesday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
Wednesday to Friday include a 1-hour unpaid break.
Total: 30 paid hours per week
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Dealing with customers face-to-face, by telephone and email
- Taking and managing vehicle rental bookings
- Checking customers in and out efficiently and professionally
- Completing rental paperwork and ensuring records are accurate
- Taking payments and processing rental transactions
- Carrying out vehicle checks at collection and return
- Helping to organise vehicle availability and daily bookings
- Liaising with colleagues regarding vehicle movements and customer requirements
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Keeping the reception and customer areas organised and presentable
- Assisting with general branch administration
- Supporting the Branch Manager and wider team with the day-to-day running of the branch
- Following Company procedures and health & safety requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to take instruction and follow procedures
- Comfortable working in a busy environment and managing several tasks at once
- A good communicator, both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Happy to work as part of a small team and help wherever needed
- Able to work independently and use their initiative
Previous customer service, vehicle rental or automotive experience would be helpful, but it is not essential, as training will be provided.
A full UK driving licence is required due to the nature of the role.
