About us
The Compliance Company is the parent company behind two specialist compliance businesses. The Compliance Company is a group of property risk management and safety companies. The Supported Housing Compliance Company works with care providers, housing providers and registered social landlords, covering fire risk assessments, legionella risk assessments, asbestos surveys and the ongoing compliance that occupied supported housing properties need. Both businesses are based in Manchester and are growing quickly, with an active acquisition strategy alongside organic growth.
The role
Our Founder & CEO is young, hands on and fast moving, running two businesses alongside a property development portfolio. This role exists to give him back time by taking full ownership of the admin, planning and coordination that currently pulls him away from growing the business. It blends personal support with light touch business administration, and the right person will move comfortably between the two without needing everything handed to them on a plate.
What you'll be doing
Diary, inbox and gatekeeping
- Managing and prioritising a busy inbox, dealing with what you can and flagging what needs his attention
- Coordinating his diary across both businesses, avoiding clashes and building in proper prep and travel time
- Arranging meetings and calls, including agendas and joining details
- Acting as a first point of contact for callers and visitors, filtering requests appropriately
Personal planning and life admin
- Managing personal insurances, renewals and related admin
- Handling errands, bookings and appointments
- Coordinating household and family related admin, including trades and service providers
- Sourcing contractors and arranging quotes for property, office or personal works
- Supporting with personal projects and milestones as they come up

- Taking minutes and following up on actions from key meetings

- Organising documents and files across both businesses
- Drafting and maintaining HR related policies and procedures as the team grows
Ad hoc
- Any other reasonable duties that support the smooth running of his working week

- Trustworthy and discreet, comfortable handling sensitive personal and financial information
- A proactive approach that gets things done rather than waiting to be asked
- Able to commute to Manchester for the in office day
