Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems across various sites. It is essential that you have the following experience:
- Pulling cables
- Texecom (Alarm) prowess
- Hikvision (CCTV) prowess
Duties
- Install and commission security equipment such as CCTV cameras, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and related hardware.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with construction teams during site development to ensure seamless integration of security infrastructure within building frameworks.
- Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to accurately install and service security systems.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to security systems integration.
- Mechanical knowledge related to hardware installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency with computer hardware components involved in security infrastructure.
- Electrical experience necessary for wiring, circuit testing, and system troubleshooting.
- Experience with CCTV installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation or repair tasks.
- Competence in reading and interpreting schematics, technical diagrams, and system design documents.
- Familiarity with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) technology for network security enhancement.
