Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our night club. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous restaurant experience and a strong understanding of food safety standards are highly desirable.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards
Skills
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
