11:11 Care Services Ltd is looking for an experienced, passionate and child-focused Team Leader to join our residential children's home in Old Whittington, Chesterfield.
Our home supports children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD) and associated complex needs.

As a Team Leader, you will play an important role in leading shifts, supporting the staff team and ensuring that children receive consistent, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
As Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and coordinate shifts, providing clear direction and support to the staff team.
- Ensure children receive safe, nurturing and individualised care.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Promote a trauma-informed, PACE-informed and Positive Behaviour Support approach.
- Support children with emotional regulation, routines, independence and positive risk-taking.
- Implement children's care plans, placement plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans.
- Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, reported and responded to appropriately.
- Support and guide Residential Care Practitioners during shifts.
- Delegate tasks and ensure responsibilities are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain high-quality daily records, incident reports, key-work records and other documentation.
- Support children to attend education, appointments, activities and family contact.
- Administer medication in accordance with policy and training.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and behaviours of concern, using de-escalation and approved behaviour-support strategies.
- Complete handovers and ensure important information is communicated effectively.
- Work collaboratively with social workers, families, education providers and other professionals.
- Support new staff and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture.
- Ensure the home remains safe, welcoming and maintained to a high standard.
- Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in maintaining compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be 21 years of age or over.
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent relevant Level 3 qualification.
- Have previous experience working with children and young people within residential childcare or a comparable setting.
- Have the confidence and experience to lead a staff team and take responsibility for a shift.
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and children's residential care.
- Be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.
- Be able to maintain accurate and professional records.
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Be committed to providing genuinely child-centred care.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
Experience supporting children with EBD, LD, developmental trauma, attachment difficulties, ADHD and/or autism would be advantageous.

Pay: £35,862.00-£37,500.00 per year
