No 2 Printer : Working as a key member of the printing team you will be responsible for supporting the No1 Printer to run, make ready and maintain the quality of the Print machine to achieve our high quality standards and the specification and requirements of our customers.
Working alongside the No1 printers in keeping their area clean and tidy in line with audit standards
- Collecting inks from the ink store to prepare the printing presses
- Loading printing presses with inks and plates.
- Keeping inks and solvents topped up at all times
- Working quickly and efficiently to avoid press downtime
- Disposing of waste products
- Operating KBA machines.
- Running 6 and 8 colour machines
- Minimal supervision.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- UV printing experience would be highly beneficial
- Good communication
- Organisational skills
- Follow health and safety procedures, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment.
- 36 hours per week: alternating mornings and afternoons and nights.
Morning - Monday - Thursday 06.00 - 13.30 Friday 06.00 - 12.00
Afternoon - Monday - Thursday 13.30 - 21.00 Friday 12.00 - 18.00.
Nightshift – Monday – Thursday 21.00 – 06.00
- Overtime is available, paid at enhanced rates of pay.
